A Visit To My Much Neglected Garden

It’s been a few days since I paid a visit to my overgrown jungle of a garden. It is pretty much played out for the year, and I have long since ceased regular maintenance due to other obligations, but I occasionally provide a little water for the few remaining survivors. I was pleased that the Datil peppers are waxing prolific. Now to decide how to use them.

I see the garlic chives are now in full bloom. They are out of control and It is imperative they get mown down before they go to seed and proliferate even more. Silver-Spotted Skipper butterflies are certainly doing their part with pollination. Time is running out to use these blossoms somehow in a dish, but I think I have an idea…
