Faye and I both enjoy cooking which means we must take turns in the kitchen. Faye has quite a collection of cookbooks and various cooking magazines. She has subscribed to Bon Apetit since the early 1980s. She is currently going through them and systematically cooking one recipe out of each cookbook and magazine. Today she fixed twice baked potatoes and butternut squash.
You may have noticed that in many of my recent posts my homemade sauerkraut makes an appearance as a side. That is because I am making a point to include probiotic foods of one kind or another in my daily diet. That reminds me, it’s time I start another batch of sauerkraut fermenting.
