With frost possible overnight I decided to pick all the peppers regardless of size or maturity.
Okay, now what do I do with them?!… Cayennes, poblanos, jalapeños, Padrones, Marconis, banana peppers, bell peppers and Cubanelles.
Speaking of peppers… People associate the color red with heat, but peppers, like other fruits and vegetables, have a higher sugar content and become sweeter as they mature. A red chili pepper can still be very hot but probably not any hotter than when it was green. As I have said many times, jalapeños are like people. They become sweeter as they age and lines form on the skin.
It was also time to bring in the curry leaf plants. Ooops… I forgot about the moringa tree.
